  1. Re:Blue Moon on The Significance of Anime · · Score: 1

To tell you the truth, the blue moon sounds more romantic and realistic than simply saying, 'I love you," or Asiteru... Someone help me with the spelling please!

How would you like it if the person who was wooing you (guys included) simply kept saying "I love you, I love you" over and over again? Sure, it sounds great, but it gets a little stale after a while.

By the way, for a race that is supposed to be 'conservative' (please don't flame me) the Japanese make great horror movies!

Ne? Your comments did not really make much sense, but I guess you guys get diff. anime than we do here in Southeast Asia.

By the way, for romantic anime, watching Curious Play and Ayashi No Ceres is better. At all costs...

    STAY AWAY FROM SAILORMOON!

By the way, try to check out Gensomaden Saiyuki, Vandread (the 3D graphics is great!) and my all-time favourite, You're Under Arrest. The movie was funny. :p

Opps! I pressed the wrong button. Am new to slashdot. In any case... BAKA ZARU! HENTAI! I'm taking potshots at you! Okay, here is how you define anime. IT's the style that matters. What one people consider anime, others may not. I've been watching and reading anime for as long as I can remember (okay, I'm 18, so what?:)) and one of the things that makes anime anime is that it must have been published in manga format first. (at least for me :p) Manga, for all you unintiated guys (I'm presuming I'm talking to MOSTLY guys) are comic books. If the manga is really popular (which happens about 45% of the time) then they turn it into an anime if it's popular enough and they get good connections, like Sailormoon. In case you were wondering, you should read the mangs first BEFORE watching the Anime. There are a few exceptions to the rule, but I've yet to find one. Any of those who have AXN (Action Network here in Asia) will agree. Personally, I find DBZ's anime annoying, having been able to get my hands on all the manga before watching the anime. Let's see... That's all I can think of for noe. Flame me if you want, but be warned... I'M A FANFIC AUTHOR! I CAN KILL YOU IF I WANT TO! MUAHAHAHAAHAH!!! *knocks evil twin over* Sorry guys. My twin got control of the computer, but I think you can guess that that's SOMETHING an anime fanfic author might write :)
