MS wins, they just have to sit and wait for 5 years.
In the mean time they can code a new OS, API, or Product the same way they have been for years now.
The consumers are just led like sheep to the slaughter, when the new product(s) comes out they will flock to the stores, buy it and pay way too much. Why, because they don't know any better. They take what they are fed, and they are fed MS. Thats what all the stores sell. Thats what they use at work, why would they want to learn something else.
