    It's ironic because the NSA actually made these weapons.
    Also, whoever did wannaCry was seriously amateur. I'm not impressed with the NSA "secret analysis." The NSA is known to be liars for propaganda purposes.

    Once it gets through compression the difference is negligible. Once it gets through a minimizer, the difference is non-existent.

  4. That's why my preference is to use tabs to indent, then spaces to align after the indent; best of both worlds.

    Yes. It's a pain to get editors to do this, though.

    If your opinion is narrow-minded and dumb, then it's narrow-minded and dumb. If you only know two languages, then you only know two languages.

    When AI researchers talk about "AI", 99.9% of the time they are talking about "Weak AI"

    But when news reporters talk about AI, a lot of the time they are talking about Strong AI. They may not even know there is a difference. Hence the confusion.

    What would have happened with something like this if a company goes under?

    For one thing, you should have some kind of authentication. Basing security entirely around domain name is a known security flaw, since at least the 90s. Two to one odds says that they also programmed the app to communicate over HTTP instead of HTTPS.

    We already have a name for it, strong AI. Conflating strong AI with weak AI has caused no end of confusion in the popular press, at least some of it intentional.

    I seem to remember there being other examples of Microsoft similar to this, but I can't think of any at the moment.......

    The problem is such statements ("I dislike Asians because their food smells") are not racist. They're only made racist because society says "thou shalt love everyone regardless of how they affect your life" which is bullshit.

    It's racist (and ignorant) because:

    Not all 'asians' eat the same food, or even different food than you. You lumped people into a category that really doesn't exist. Based on their appearance, you automatically assumed you wouldn't like how they smell. You're racist.

    No matter how much of a close-minded nincompoop you are, I guarantee there is at least some 'asian food' you would really like, and now you have missed out on that.

    Yeah. Most people I see spreading propaganda aren't paid, they're average citizens.

  24. No they didn't. They announced them in January 2007 and started selling them in June 2007.

    That was the last possible moment.......right before getting FCC approval, which would have not been kept secret.
