As for "up state", reference that is used for anything north of the city, you can't forget about Long Island, which is referred to as "the Island".

which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre

Which cpu do you have in your T400? Remember that Intel crippled some cpus. I have a T400 with an Intel VT active CPU and the option is available.
