Considering that most likely 2/3 of the people polled are textbook publishers and bookstore owners, and 1/3 students that isn't a surprising finding, How about JUST polling readers.
Yes. I would buy more expensive and sexier Apple hardware even.
TiVO is a computer. It's a PowerPC with a custom Unix OS... and PS I have a WMCPC a home and I never touch the mouse or the keyboard.... I can plug in a firewire harddrive and expand my programming space with no effort at all... I can play all my music files of my server and view my pictures and videos on my TV. Hands down Windows Media Center wins... TiVo is dead to me.
I don't even OWN a CD player that is not attatched to my computer. I purchase anywhere from 1 to 5 new CD's a week.
