Besides, Shouldn't the professor attempt to improve his/her lesson plan, instead of using the same old stale plan each year? Is it too much to ask of the professor?

Yes this is too much to ask. Developing good lesson plans take a lot of time, energy and feedback. Often it is hard to tell what problems will be good ones until you have a class full of students take the problem home, poke and prod it and then return with results. When you teach core material, this is not unreasonable because the same set of ideas needs to be communicated and understood by the students.

Besides, unless you are taking the class for the second time (ie failed it), this is the first time you will have seen the problem.

The folks at the Kroger closest to where I live are very unfriendly and frequently downright nasty.

You must live near me. I have called their corporate headquarters so many times I am sure that they have my number on speed dial.

When I buy a house I am seriously going to consider which supermarkets are nearby before I buy. The QFCs around here suck, the Safeways really only carry booze and Whole Foods do not have Coke. It is a trial just to get food for dinner.

  4. Why Not Collect Taxes Already Owed? on State Coalition Approves Internet Sales Tax Plan · · Score: 1

It is hard to feel bad for states when there are huge tax bills already owed but uncollected. And that list only covers Western Washington, Eastern Washington has its own separate list. I am sure the car dealership that has been on that list forever would pay right up if the government went over there and started seizing vehicles.
