Now that Microsoft open sourced.NET (https://github.com/Microsoft/dotnet) this makes sense. Really happy for everyone at Xamarin, they are one of those companies that put in the work and deserve this.
After going through the process myself, I would advise using a CRM software solution. Keeping track of opportunities, leads and contacts is essential in a good job search. This class of software lends itself to that.
I will admit that it doesn't do it perfectly, but it is a whole lot better than using a wiki to keep track of every bit of information that you can think of.
Sugar Sales is a great place to start. I like it and have found it very useful! (It's a OSS project)
The slinky was one of my favorite toys growing up.
Also, the superball was awesome as well. I usually could be found with a superball in my pocket all the time and would be constantly bouncing it off walls, annoying my parents and everyone around me in the process!!! LOL, good times.
Use the power to pump water uphill and store it in a reservoir or heat a large amount of water. There are plenty of ways to store large amounts of electricity.
This is a viable way to store power, but the system efficiency decreases dramatically when you do this. The real issue with wind power is how intermittent it is. My father-in-law currently works as a power engineer at a local electric co-op in Wisconsin and is in charge of researching new power technologies. They gave up on wind power a while ago and are now looking into a technology coming out of Denmark that converts animal waste (cow poop:-) into electricity. One of these "Methane Digesters" can produce a full megaWatt of power on a decently sized farm.

PHP Template Engines?

Check out the SitePoint forums for Advanced PHP. The pro's and con's of template engines have been discussed over there in length and it is just a great resource for advanced PHP topics.

Also, take a look at Harry Fuecks website PhpPatterns. He also has detailed information about PHP templating and the theory behind the code.
I would recommend diving into the world of Mozilla. They offer a couple of awesome tools for Javascript and DOM debugging. Check out the following:
Venkman Javascript DebuggerDOM InspectorMozilla Firebird
Specifically with Firebird, after you have it installed, go check out some of the available extensions at texurizer.net/firebird/extensions and download some of the cool extensions like the 'Web Developers Toolbar'.
These pieces of software have proved invaluable to my productivity! I have used them to debug javascript, XUL and everything in between.
Good luck!
I use Mozilla's Firebird on XP and it's great. My wife, a very non-computer user, loves it too. She really likes tabbed browsing and is really starting to get the hang of it.
One way I think the Mozilla suite should be promoted is through the use of XUL. XUL is "the" killer-app for Mozilla. If the functionality gained from usuig XUL and XHTML over plain XHTML was so incredible, people would be forced to install and use Mozilla.
It's up to us now, people who know how valuable Mozilla really is, to promote it and tell all of our friends just how cool Firebird and Mozilla really are.
I would have to say that the fact that you responded to this so quickly is impressive.
Software, no matter what quality, with this kind of support behind it is impressive. Because of this, I will definitely give Echo another look. Of course, I will upgrade my browser first.:-)
I have always found a use for my Win98 boot disk. I know, I know, I use Linux all the time now, but back in the day, a Win98/95 boot disk was the way to go.
Nowadays, I would use a linux boot disk, but most old computers I have run into typically run Windows 98/95 or in rare occassions Windows 3.1 (gasp!).

I might be mistaken, but I believe this has been around for a while.

Very, very impressive.
Hmm . . .
Each of the sample apps don't seem to work in Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1.
