This may be a little off topic. Several people have complained about Skylarov's name being spelled different ways. I believe that Russian is one of many languages in which it may be appropriate and correct to spell a name in more than one way using Roman lettters. For example, the Japanese company Fujitsu could also be correctly spelled out Fuzitsu, or Huzitsu, but they seem to have a pretty good handle on their public image. (expect for those defective hard drives I was hearing about on/. )
somewhere in the EULA for the next version of KDevelop.......By using this software, you agree to turn to the KDE side and forever renounce GNOME. Furthermore, you agree that any end-user of any software product developed with KDevelop will be bound to the same terms of use...
You can mod me down as off-topic for this, but I've just got to mention this. If you like movies like "The Matrix," I recommend that you go see "The Ring." Although "The Ring" does not have the same technological elements that "The Matrix" has that many of us geeks like, it has a similiar surreal mood. Okay there is some technology. I don't think I've ever seen a movie before in which an evil spirit calls you (on the telephone) to inform you that you have been chosen as her victim. As you may be aware, "The Ring" is a remake of a Japanese movie from several years back. The original is an excellent movie as well; I've seen both of them. "The Ring" does share a similarity with "Equilibrium" though that both of them involve a story that examines what might happen if a terribly feared scenario is realized.
Another movie that this reminds me of

Personally, the idea of a film about a man who battles the system reminds me of the movie Rollerball ( the original, not last year's remake ). Those of you who have seen it may remember that the hero's boss wanted him to retire from the game because they feared that he would rise above the deadly game, which itself was meant to be an analogy to show everyone that no one was greater than the system. Hence in the end, the rules of the game were changed ( no time limit ) so that the game of rollerball was changed from a more violent soccer like game into a deathmatch.
spam is not the only thing that ought to increase 50% in the coming years, right?
no, the Commodore 64 was 64 bi^h^hkilobytes of RAM. hey, imagine a beowulf cluster of those.
