the standard monitor settings and the standard desktop settings cause a lot of stress for the eyes.
- reduce contrast and brightness
- enhance refresh rate (>80)
- use large fonts with AA
- use softer colors e.g.
white -> light yellow
black -> dark brown
- no glares
- align your monitor so that the screen has a 90 degree angle to your line of sight
if you can't do some of it:
- get a better monitor
- use window shades + lights to get the right light
I used to have problems after a couple of hours, but now I work 9-12h M-F and never have any problems.
Rats are smart.
They adapt really fast to new kinds of poison.
When they find food they send a test rat and watch it for a while. Only when this rat seams to be fine they go for the food. The period rats watch the scaperat got longer during the last decades. Its a real problem for rat poison manufactures. There must be some rats left. Rats that learned to avoid the pellets.
Half of my tongue was numb for 9 month.
It came back completely.
BUT my dentist claimed that if the whole tongue goes
numb then you may need surgery. On the other hand she also claimed that the numbness would leave in 3 month.
In your case it would ask a second dentist/doctor.
Good luck
