Hell I would go as well. Just for the chance. I know people think it is stupid but I guess there are people who really don't understand what it means to be willing to die to fulfill your dreams. Several people have died and they knew they could and yet they had the courage to fight for it. I would go live or die just to have the chance to not only live a dream but because I might be able to help the people back here and besides it will get me away from all these wonderfully negative and unsupportive people.
I can tell you have never used a mac. I get sick and tired of how peaple are just not willing to learn something new. No it my not be the way you do it now and yes it might not be as customizable as you like but how the hell do you know if you have never used it or never given it a chance to see if it could work for you. Instead you just have convinced yourself it can't be done or is just for the basic user and are never going to try it out and see.
Dude i don't know what you have been smoking but i want some. Usability in os 10.2 and 10.3 does surpass that of 9 I hate when something is rasterizing in photoshop in 9 I can't do anything else I just sit there and stare. Also i got sick and tired of when one thing would crash in 9 the whole system would go down and if I had anything else open it was lost. Boy I have to say that was productive. Geez dude you really need to educate yourself before going of and saying a bunch of crap like this.
wow i guess you weren't around when the apple os went from 6 to 7. everyone had the same bitch that 7 sucked and that are sticking with 6. Kind of sounds like the whole it is not how I used to do it so I don't like it complaint I here so much. But i have been using apple's stuff for 13 years and I love the new OS much better and yeah it is a bit of a learning curve but not much of one. and this upgrade is far better than when everyone went from 6 to 7 and oh yeah i hated 8. 8 was as bad as 7 it didn't get better till 8.6. Hell my father who has been using them since the beginning and yes he is in his 50's likes X far better than 9 or 8 or 7. Sounds to like you need to educate yourself before you speak.

First why are they called bench marks? Second From everything I have read or seen on the G5, G4, P4, Opteron, Athlon 64 is that everyone has found different numbers and no one believes them one one way or another. the supposed apple bench mark lie was later supported by NASA tests yet after that other tests came out that said it was still a lie... So when it comes to this test. I will have to say I will put it in the the same pile as the rest.
I decided to avoid the candy machine and cut back on how much I eat/snack. I keep it to about 4 ok sized meals a day and exercise. Cuts the junk (Cookies!!!, Sweet Tea and Soft Drinks) and the exercise gives me more energy. But with all the diets I have been on (i.e. Low Fat, Low Carb, Blood Type...) just changing my diet and taking better care of myself made the difference that I never got from anything else. About 6 months ago I was almost 300 even being 6'4" it really started to show. Now I am down to around 240. So just find what works for you.
I can understand wanting to state your opinion on something. I can understand doing something to state that opinion. But I have a hard time reading an article when his whole point is to show how justified he is in being upset at apple "Using publicly available information, I am going to show you how Apple is attempting to deliberately mislead its loyal customers and fans when it claims that "The Power Mac G5 is the world's fastest personal computer"". I would like to read a truly objective article on this subject. But this article is hard for me to take with any seriousness.

When did the idea of copyright get so misconstrued? The whole idea of copyright is to prevent someone remarketing my idea or product under there name and there label. If I buy a lawnmower I don't have to mow the lawn according to the manual (yet I have to listen to music only one way?). I also can loan that lawn mower to a friend (sounds a lot like trading to me). Also if I want to turn that lawnmower in to lawn art or battle bot I can. The only thing I cannot do is reproduce that product under my name and/or make a profit of that idea. So how and why are these really unimaginative and none capable business owners trying to change law? Because they are too incapable to come up with a working business model?::sigh:: makes me feel like I have to suffer under the rule's of morons and idiots. If you don't like the way people handle or use your product. Don't sell it. I don't buy borrow or steal any thing from any of the part of the entertainment industry and I don't do business with people who call their customers thief?s.
Becouse if you really take a look at what you get from dell for 1000. I was out shoping for a machine and by the time I got everything together with some really nice stuff it was right around the same price as a new mid-range mac.
