I guess, if it's gonna be a crappy day, might as well go to the dentist, instead of dreading it on some beautiful spring day
Don't forget Grant Green -- great, great guitarist. Even his son GG Jr. has a great album out. If you like the sound of a big old hammond organ buy some Jimmy Smith or Reuben Wilson.
Bluenote has a lot of great mix disks -- I suggest anything in the Lost Grooves series.
