Amazing, now the editors are trolling US! You know where.

Why should some hard working CEO hire a lazy, undereducated American for $50k a year anyway? So what if the lack of jobs weaken the country?

Corporations don't owe their loyalty to the US, they owe their loyalty to their stockholders, and a lot of them are rich people from other countries.

If Americans want their jobs back, they should stop acting like IT'S SOVIET RUSSIA and get used to the global economy - get used to working for $10 an hour - IF you're lucky.

People who complain about jobs going overseas sound like communists to me. God Bless America and our Capitalist System.

The companies regulate the FCC! They call it "regulatory capture" Now that Colin Powell's son is FCC director, every CEO worth his grits knows it's as easy as 1. Send money to Republicans, 2, (wink wink), and 3. Profit from regulation you write yourself! Just another blank check from the liberals in the Republican party.

February 30, 1661: I had a strange dream last night, of a beautiful woman with long dark flowing hair, and wearing breeches! She was reading from Beowulf, and clustered around her were gobs of some kind of corn meal.

All of a sudden, unwashed hordes of some sort of future demons bombarded her with requests, so much that she became unable to answer ... I awoke with a start.

They have this look on their face like I just spilled hot oatmeal down my pants, and I hurried to cover Mr. "I've been taking a cold shower, really".

Okay, thanks, I couldn't find anything equivalent when I first started using php.

So can you tell me how to use both on apache? I imagine I can get a some kind of cluster of apaches with some mod-perl and some php? That would be useful. I guess I can no longer say that all your php sites aren't as good as what perl has.

I learned php a few months ago, but I think I'll stick to perl. If you're making some simple web pages that just need to be marked up, I guess php is okay, but why bother adding a php module to Apache when you've got mod-perl?

In Perl, the language helps you, but php just seems to get in the way. Without the equivalent of Perl's excellent DBI/DBD, I don't see much use for php.
