I remember that movie... and I remember that the guys in the movie used the plateletes as an excuse to grope the girl's tits. Good times. We'll just wait until script kiddies get a hold of the technology and use the nanos to place "pwned" tattoos on your forehead.
By injecting self-assembling peptide nanofibers loaded with pro-survival factors into rats, they've showed that the animals could be protected from heart failures.
Now I have to get this out of my system. The proper way to write the past tense of show in the sentence above is, "...they've shown..."
One of the things about European patent laws is that patents are awarded to the person who invented it first regardless of when the patent was filed. Of course, instead of inventing the iPod, he decided to spend decades battling Sony in court. I mean, who uses walkmans these days? I don't even use my cd player anymore.
Well, I assume that their research was mostly to see if the audio recording can help someone crack a password and in fewer attempts than say a brute force attack. In either case, what you would probably do is acquire the password hash and guess the correct password on another machine before using it to log in.
I agree with your comment and I wish to add an analogy in that:
An auto mechanic might be able to fix some parts of the car, but a mechanical engineer can actually design the car and obviously can also fix the car.
Anyone can learn how to program. All you need to do is pick up a book on programming with some sample code and you're set. Computer Science is much more than that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but PoE would still require the power to come from somewhere. During a power outage, where will this power come from? Both the DSL modem as well as the Cable modem require power. The computer requires electricity to power the NIC. So unless you have a UPS, or you have a notebook, or you plug an inverter into the car, I would stick with a cellphone.
Dude, you are so right about that, but I think no one is going to pay attention to you because you're supporting a Microsoft product. Most people on this forum would have given you a better mod had you praised a linux controller instead.
Kevin Mitnick actually demonstrated this a while back during the March 2004 InfoSec conference in orlando. He was talking about how we focus so much on implementing the nifty security plans and yet in the end, exploits of these trusted systems (called ID has never been secure anyway) seem to take us by surprise when in fact, TRUST was placed on a system that was never secure in the first place.
Boycotting accomplishes very little. In this whole mess, I stand with American Greeting in that they have a right to protect against the wanton use of their trademarks. To put it in/. terms, a couple of years back, Red Hat lawyers asked Linuxcare(I think it was) to stop displaying a poster of this exhibitionist woman with the RedHat name. According to Red Hat, it was an action to prevent their trademark from going into the public domain because you can lose your trademark that way if you don't protect it. And maybe it was some creative BS'ing on Red Hat's part, but this is how the business world works and PA should think about that before they do irresponsible things.
Look man, if I wanted to see news from last year, I can find it myself. Stop posting events or articles from two months ago. Post something new new. If it's old, then it's not news. Catfish?
I want to be polite about this, yet adamant with my opinion. I've successfully tolerated the occasional grammatical errors and spelling errors, but the occasional is becoming habitual.
Yuck. I hate writing like that, but I hope it gets my point accross.

Enough already! You are a shameless example of what we do not represent here and are hereby dishonorably discharged.

Invoke anger through false sentiments, eh? How about:
"This just in... among the 766 sites were numerous open source communities, pro-Linux news forums, and anti-Microsoft blogs..."
Now THAT would have been a much better tactic than some poor cancer website.

I think that too many people focus their attention instinctively towards the "foreigners" simply because they are brought up to embrace xenophobia.
The real issue here is the danger of outsourcing functions which require personally identifiable information and other sensitive data.
I mean let's face it. Embezzling is not a new thing and it happens more often from within than from outside.
And on that note, I found some "Insightful" stuff about those "GODDAMNED FOREIGN TERRORISTessesssess":
Ted Kaczynski
aka The Unabomber
Born May 22, 1942, Chicago, IL.
Timothy McVeigh
aka The Oklahoma Bomber
Born April 23, 1968, Lockport, NY
John Allen Williams
aka John Allen Muhammad
aka The Washington Sniper
Born December 31, 1960, New Orleans, LA

Are they sure it wasn't a SIN flood?

Yes, and French considers outlawing English while German consider outlawing Budweiser and Chinan consider outlawing money.
