Timeline of watches. I.E. I want the debugger to log any changes in these variables over the life of the program. Draw it nice and pretty so I can see the order in which the changes are happening.
but other then that.. I can't think of much else a debugger can do without some more hooks from the language/runtime...
Line numners, Assertions, stack traces (with method names and stuff)... are all basic things that really make debugging easier.. but the underying language/runtime had to support them before the debugger could invent nifty features.
So, what other meta information could we add to our applications to allow the debuggers some new features?
I guess I didn't come up with an answer.. just another question.. that I don't know the answer too..

Isn't it good for you to stretch every now and then? When we do the pair programming thing.. we usually do about 45min each, then swap chairs. Sometimes the person who was typing goes to get candy..:)
I use to think my earliest memory was that of me going outside in my underwear and being cold...when I was about 2 years old.
Then I found a picture my dad took of me doing just that.
Now I think I had seen the photo and filled in the details myself.

Earplugs are cheaper and work for the other stuff in the dorms that are going to keep you awake. Including your alarm clock.
