I suppose you do all your solaris development in text mode, always run lynx or telnet to browse the web, etc. etc. Solaris is a great platform for running a gui environment because it's rock solid.
One thing I disliked about Solaris 8 x86 is that there wasn't a good amount of natively supported graphics hardware, and the drivers it did have were for fairly older graphics cards. I'd always have to compile and setup xfree86 just so I wasn't running in 640x480x16colors. Does anyone know if they have drivers to support modern graphics hardware?
The worldwide federation of unsolicted email has just provided a do-not-spam email list. The list will provide an easy way for spammers to check and see if your email address is on the list, so that you will not receive their wonderful deals! When asked if spammers would use the list to send you anonymous advertising, the federation replied, "Spammers are good honest citizens of society and would never do such a thing."
Just curious, but did anybody notice an estimated price for various configurations either the 3300 or 3700? I couldn't find any price info on their site.
