I completely agree with him on this, even though I've often been on one side or the other in a flame war. For the most part, the reason flame wars break out on the Internet is precisely because neurotypicals don't realize that text is an autistic media- that all emotion is stripped out of any given text transmission. Any emotions you feel when reading text were likely never intended by the author, and come from your own neurosis and inadequacies. Add to that a topic that is not objective and doesn't have a common goal, and you've got all the ingredients you need for a first-class flame war.
Considering that a mere resolution from the House of Representatives could turn Roe V. Wade into a gross violation of the 14th Amendment, I don't think we need to refer to the Bible for anything at all.
The brakes are never enough. The light rail in Portland can take a half a block with the wheels locked up to stop. But once you are stopped, what is your option? You're stuck. Lights and horns are all you have.

Was really good to have a human operator in that situation to run into the restaurant and warn people before it got towed away (didn't work, but it was a nice touch).

The main thing I remember about the story was the old man going shopping and being told there was nothing the store had that he was able to eat without increases in his premiums, and he could no longer afford an increase in his premium (the fitness tracker included both fiscal and physical fitness), and that he'd have to go into a medically induced coma for a week for a detox. After the detox, he got kidnapped by a subversive group that taught him yoga to reduce his stress level and caused his scores to go down.

Redefine a legal person, and the 14th Amendment applies to abortion. Heck, that was even in the minority opinion in 1973.
