This device looks interesting and all the comments about the design of the thing are right on---its pretty ugly. That said the company has to be credited for at least bringing this to market. Apple should be doing this now.
First off, this is a beta. Secondly, I also have had no problem with safari and I've printed a bunch. That said, I sure am going to make sure I don't hit that option-key while downloading!
I'm fine with Apple charging for new users to buy idvd and imovie, as well as upgrades for incremental upgrades. But ical and the address book should be free, especially for.mac users. They are such basic applications, it would almost be like Apple charging for the the built in calculator!

its just a matter of time before Apple incorporates this into itunes.
