So.... Encryption is a big headache for small businesses?

There are free encryption tools out there. The "headache" would probably be for IT, because Encryption means if you didnt back it up you lost it. If you forgot the PW, you lost it, if that person leaves and doesnt give you the PW, you can sue them, but you lost it.

One thing I have noted in my "small business" IT jobs, if you dont take IT seriously and stick them in a windowless room in the basement like you would a janitor, you will not succeed in your business. A small business treated me like I was a lost revenue instead of like a member of the company, they lost me and they regret it to this day. But this company is a medical billing business, where HIPAA was a daily worry. I figured it out.

Kind of went off on a tangent there, but the point is small businesses have it better than large companies. Its not hard to encrypt, its hard to keep track and train how to use.

  6. MechWarrior series on MechWarrior 4 Free Release Delayed By Microsoft · · Score: 5, Interesting

I have to say, when Mechwarrior was owned by FASA it was an exciting universe, I had a lot of ideas. I played MW2 back in the day online. Was in a Merc group for online play and we did rather well. I mean think of it, there were clans, Federation groups, and merc groups. it had a money system and you could buy/sell things. They had planets setup that would produce so much a week, etc. it was a full economy that this gaming group did on their own. There was even travel time between planets, and you had to "own" your own ships.
I left it after a while, but I enjoyed it and thought that it was a fun experience. That is an MMO, IMO. Eve is okay in this area, but MechWarrior just had the stories and the background. When MW3 and MW4 came out I was hoping to see that they were still around. They kind of are, but not in the scale that I speak of above. People didnt like MW3 or MW4 in the dynamics it provided like MW2 did.
One day I hope for a MW Universe based off the MW2 online community, but it may never happen because WizKids made it the lamest piece of crap I have ever seen.

I find it odd that the systems in vehicles do not have a default "debugging" which should basically trigger the vehicle to stop.
Why does the vehicle ABS (from what I know from the news) get tripped up on instant breaking? Really? ABS... the thing that is supposed to pump the break to allow for cleaner stops triggers breaking problems and increased acceleration?

I just think bad coding in general here. Regardless of "testing"

Ads would be the #1 way to saturate a lot of computers in a short amount of time. Ill never remove ad blockers.
That being said I am sure website developers can come up with a solution which checks if their ads are being blocked and if so, deny access to the site.
