Inspirion 1720 is going strong after 7 years of non stop usage and it runs flawlessly with Linux Mint 14/Mate. Only thing I replaced was to put in a SSD and I spilt a full glass of beer on the KB which eventually need to be replaced. So does that make Dell's as good as your Mac's?
You'd figure the gov would have access to some powerful hd data forensics teams. Shit I just saved a very important HD that was failing with lots of bad sectors and slow as hell using Acronis backuo. I'm sure a freezer and some other recovery software would worked.
Sure am I got my own domain(s) name and use thunderbird or my webmail software, block all ads and don't have an evil phone. Don't use social sites and don't tie my life and business to data collection services like G+ and Facebook.You might find it weird but I can function just fine witho out owning any gadges that are tied to some data collection company.
