They claim that some insulation fell from the shuttle when they launched.
RTFA man. It says insulation fell off the external fuel tank, not the shuttle. Possibly damaging the wing, but not degrading the heat resistance of the shuttle itself. Get your facts straight before calling names.

Thats right. However, just because people say it over and over, doesn't mean it's not true, either.
religionnoun:
a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
Since you can't prove evolution as the beginning of life (at least until someone invents a time machine, and how likely is that?), you're holding it in faith. How is that any different from believing in creation?
Don't you know that God created everything in six days, the world's only 5000 years old,
Don't see how that's any less believable than we all came from slime (and before that, hydrogen) and the world is 10 billion years old. Be careful about passing off theory as fact. Evolution is just as much a religion as Creationism.
Could it also be that kids are discouraged from experimenting in their own back yards? Look at Thomas Edison. He was blowing up his shed when he was what? 11? And while he wasn't exactly encouraged, he wasn't thrown in jail. Nowaday's you'd get your tail kicked by the authorities for trying to make a bomb. Isn't exactly conducive to nerdy behavior.
Shoot, they've got duct tape wallets at Thinkgeek, why not tinfoil??? Opens up a whole new market.
Oh yeah??? Give us your IP address and let's see how long that sucker lasts!!!
But then where would we store the penguins???
So why couldn't you have come up with this before the fireworks???

How about these? They got up to 13,000 ft!
