Or if you buy it in a country with good laws eg. Denmark. Here companies can't force anything if the customer wasn't presented with the terms before buying the products. Terms included inside a box isn't legal including M$ EULA.

It is not a police case but a civil case and therefore the APG can't just go the police.

Well that is not true. One of the person who got the letter from APG (Anti-Pirat Group) had downloaded 5 songs and they wanted about 120 USD from him for these 5 songs.
Also it is illegal in Denmark for APG to put files on Kazaa and make people download them. APG can't help people doing anything illegal if they want to win the courtcase.
You are wrong so I guess you are not a danish citizen. In Denmark you can't be punish for anything you haven't done. So the APG (Anti-Pirat Group) must found out who in the household did the illegal download or they have no case.
In Denmark and most of the EU-countries, you can't take patents on algorithms. Also you can break a patent as a private person.

I have two reasons to also keep my Netscape 4.7
1.
My netbank only works with Netscape 4.7
(not even Netscape 4.76)
My bank is actually the biggest in Denmark and
they told me that they only support Internet
explorer. Hmm. Maybe time to change to some of
many smaller bank which netbank actually
works on netscape.
Another example of big isn't better.
2. live365.com doesn't work with Netscape 6 nor Mozilla. And they know it too because they
write it directly on their pages.
I really can't see the problem. It is not
illegal to fix your dvd-player if it isn't already
region free but broken.
Here in Denmark most DVD-player are sold
region-free. Most ad has the region-free flag
attached because the shops know that people
wants region-free players.
I used to be a programmer but then I got too smart. Now I am a system-administrator.
I receive many question and I have to decide
it is a user-error, a system-error or a
software-error. If it a software-error I will
request ( demand ) a patch from the programmer.
This task is only possible if you knows a lot
about programming and the system. Else it is
not possible to decide if it needs a patch.
You say Solaris have full hardware support. Well, I work with Solaris everyday and we always buy Sun hardware so we can be sure that it is suported. Sun hardware is very expensive so we have a few times bought non-Sun hardware like a DDS-3 from HP. And most of the times when we try to save money buying non-Sun hardware we need spending severals days of waste time to make it work. And Solaris8 is only free is a Sun-jargon. It cost 75 USD for the package even they say that the product itself is free. You can get access to the source but you are not allowed to distributed a patch to another than Sun. And you are _not_ allowed to copy your "free" copy to a friend.
Please learn how to pronuce GNU. it doesn't sounds like new if you remember to say the G. If you don't believe me then maybe you believe Eric S. Raymond and read what he says: http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/GNU .html
Well you can't use standard SQL for that much work. All big databases has an extended SQL which is difference from product to product. Oracle has the nice PL/SQL language which is a function producedure language on the top of SQL. Also triggers are very good but not a part of SQL. PostgreSql has triggers and MySQL hasn't got. So only use MySql if you need speed.
Your reason is just a bad argument for warez. If you want to try out a game go get a free demo instead. You can get them from Magazine and legal ftp-sites. Don't support piracy.

They change their dns to return the wrong ip which
says that the site is blocked but they don't
force you to use the ISP dns.
No, the MD5 attack produce the files with the same lenght.
I agree. CMYK is very important in this
industri but isn't supported by GIMP nor
other GNU/Linux I know.

That will be very very stupid. You can go many month in jail for making false evidence.

It has a lot more options and better to use if
you need to spand over several discs a big program.

They didn't see that the Sovjet was collaping.
They needed >10 years to get the Unabomber.
They didn't stop the World Trade Center.
They spend most of their energy on industri
spying instead they should try to catch
terrorist.
Linus is not speaking Finnish. He is a
Swedish speaking.
I think there are about 25% Swedish people in
Finland.
Well, we can say FUCK, SHIT, MOTHERFUCKER etc. on
TV in Denmark. We can also see a penis in a movie.
When did you last hear FUCK, SHIT in an
U.S.A. show and not a *beep* ?

Well, you don't have to publish the whole source
again. You can publish the output from diff.
If you can't get replaced you can't get promoted.
