    Or if you buy it in a country with good laws eg. Denmark. Here companies can't force anything if the customer wasn't presented with the terms before buying the products. Terms included inside a box isn't legal including M$ EULA.

    They change their dns to return the wrong ip which
    says that the site is blocked but they don't
    force you to use the ISP dns.

    It is not a police case but a civil case and therefore the APG can't just go the police.

    Well that is not true. One of the person who got the letter from APG (Anti-Pirat Group) had downloaded 5 songs and they wanted about 120 USD from him for these 5 songs.

    Also it is illegal in Denmark for APG to put files on Kazaa and make people download them. APG can't help people doing anything illegal if they want to
    win the courtcase.

    You are wrong so I guess you are not a danish citizen. In Denmark you can't be punish for anything you haven't done. So the APG (Anti-Pirat Group) must found out who in the household did the illegal download or they have no case.

    In Denmark and most of the EU-countries, you
    can't take patents on algorithms.
    Also you can break a patent as a private person.

    I have two reasons to also keep my Netscape 4.7
    1.
    My netbank only works with Netscape 4.7
    (not even Netscape 4.76)
    My bank is actually the biggest in Denmark and
    they told me that they only support Internet
    explorer. Hmm. Maybe time to change to some of
    many smaller bank which netbank actually
    works on netscape.
    Another example of big isn't better.
    2. live365.com doesn't work with Netscape 6 nor Mozilla. And they know it too because they
    write it directly on their pages.

    95% of all dvd-players are region-free
    in Denmark. It is not illegal to sell a
    region-protected (broken) dvd-player but
    no-one wants to be them.

    I really can't see the problem. It is not
    illegal to fix your dvd-player if it isn't already
    region free but broken.
    Here in Denmark most DVD-player are sold
    region-free. Most ad has the region-free flag
    attached because the shops know that people
    wants region-free players.

    Again, I don't see the problem at all.

    I used to be a programmer but then I got too smart. Now I am a system-administrator.
    I receive many question and I have to decide
    it is a user-error, a system-error or a
    software-error. If it a software-error I will
    request ( demand ) a patch from the programmer.
    This task is only possible if you knows a lot
    about programming and the system. Else it is
    not possible to decide if it needs a patch.

    SysAdm are smarter.

    You say Solaris have full hardware support.
    Well, I work with Solaris everyday and we always buy Sun hardware so we can
    be sure that it is suported. Sun hardware is very expensive so we have a few times bought
    non-Sun hardware like a DDS-3 from HP. And most of the times
    when we try to save money buying non-Sun hardware we need spending
    severals days of waste time to make it work.
    And Solaris8 is only free is a Sun-jargon.
    It cost 75 USD for the package even they say that the
    product itself is free. You can get access to the source but you
    are not allowed to distributed a patch to another than Sun. And you are _not_ allowed to copy your "free" copy to a friend.

    Well you can't use standard SQL for that much work. All big databases has an extended SQL which is difference from product to product. Oracle has the nice PL/SQL language which is a function producedure language on the top of SQL. Also triggers are very good but not a part of SQL. PostgreSql has triggers and MySQL hasn't got. So only use MySql if you need speed.
