This is not the same extension. To sell a car *using* an image or likeness is not the same as selling the image itself (or even a collection of those images in a calendar)
$10/gallon does seem like a lot... but think about this... Petrol in london according to this article, , is 85p/litre. Now if my conversions are correct, that's $1.57 per litre... And to go from litres to US gallons, $5.94/gallon. So is it really that bad, since its in its infancy and will eventually be made cheaper?
I've been learning Tutorial D in my database class, and it is so much more confusing than SQL. Maybe its cause I'm from a C and SQL background, but D really sucks IMO. SQL might not be terribly accurate from a mathematical sense, but it is much more practical at least in the smaller projects I've had experience with.
Have you ever opened up small electronics before? A CD player or the such? The best approach is to do an amazing job keeping track of which screws go where, because they're all likely different. Additionally, every piece you take off will likely have a very fragile ribbon cable with a very fragile connection, so just be careful. generally the ribbon cables pull out once a small catch is slid towards them. As for the actual hard drive, the bios in all recent (since they went to ide) laptops is completely compatible. Unless you've got a strange laptop that did what compaq desktops used to, with bios-on-disk, but sharp's aren't like that afaik. Last thing... all 2.5" drives are not the same. My portege has a 9mm thick drive, and the new portege's and thinkpad x's take like 7mm or something. the standard i believe is 12mm, so you'll likely need one of the (slightly) more expensive models. Get a new one, as anything used could be just as broken as what you're taking out, and believe me its not worth it to pull that thing apart twice!
If you kept track of everything (screws, cables, etc) and nothing's left over;) then power up, and so long as everything works (including, and double check this one, the fan) you're golden. Good luck, and make sure you aren't over-tired or hungry when you attempt it, it can be frustrating.
Um... I do consider myself a left-ist, but how is covering "government corruption, torture, protests, attacks on free speech" being specifically leftist? I doubt any hardlined rightists wouldn't want to know about government corruption, torture, and attacks on free speech. Even extremist groups, such as the KKK rely on free speech for their rallies and protests.
My school, Plymouth State in Plymouth, NH has a similar policy (sorry, couldn't find a link). No non-campus owned access points. Main reason being security control. The excuse they give to students? Using an access point might knock someone else in the building off the network.
Uhm... Don't let me step on someone else's parade here, but... T1=1.544mbps or so, right? T1= about $800/month (so you say) right? Okay... the gentleman from the midwest says he spends $500/mbps per month on a fractional DS3(basically T3). 800 for 1.544mbps, or 500 for 1.0mbps... sounds pretty similar to me.
Currently, linux's UI and setup/install make it a no-go to take over windoze's market, but as it becomes easier to use, software and game developers will realize its potential as a stable and fast OS and will likely begin writing for it. This in turn will cause it to gradually take more and more of the M$ monopoly.
Although I don't want to put down first timers using linux, mklinux isn't the best option if you are the IT guy for an all-mac shop with PPCs or G3s (as would be expected) Also, even if GUIs have spoiled you, just use redhat/PPC. it auto-installs with KDE & the redhat control center

But... do they enforce it? Not so far.
