You have to remember that 480 Mb is a THEORETICAL maximum throughput. If your USB 2.0 is tied to the PCI bus then you won't get beyond 133 Mb. I ran into a similar problem with a PCI Firewire card between 2 computers. I coud only transfer at what the PCI bus limited me to.
Microsoft has been ripping off other companies for years... Some ppl may not like Sun Java, but that doesn't make it right for "Uncle Bill" to do what he claims others are doing to him. btw... FIRST POST!!!
