  1. Hack the Matrix!...online on The Matrix Going Massively Multiplayer · · Score: 1

The hackers will have a freakin free for all when this game goes live. They'll try to hack into the matrix and get Neo-like powers. Then the 'rebels' will be the hackers and the 'machines' will be the architects (people who designed the matrix).

Agent Smith can't be in the game because all of them were destroyed when the machines had a link to a Smith when Neo was turned into a smith. It wasn't clear that Neo died. Also, I thought they were going to freee the humans in the Matrix. I don't see what there is left to do but enjoy the peace with the machines.

  2. How fast will they be? on Quantum Computing Breakthrough in Japan · · Score: 1

We've heard all the hoopla and hype about QC but how many times faster will they be than my 1.4Ghz Athlon? If we were to use Ghz as the sole factor in speed then how many Ghz would be equivalent to what a QC could do?

  3. Re:What is going to run on these computers? on Quantum Computing Breakthrough in Japan · · Score: 1

Think about the ramifications quantum computers would have in the world of biological science? We could run folding@home. We wouldn't be able to write sophisticated applications fast enough that would help us fight diseases.

  4. The RIAA can't stop a rolling boulder on EFF Ad Campaign On File Swapping · · Score: 1

This is way too popular for it to come to an end. What I hate the most is that if I want to create a program that'll let me share files with friends and anyone in the world then it would be illegal because some of them might break the law. Where's my freedom?

  5. This article and Slashdot on UFO Evidence From SOHO Satellite · · Score: 1

Hello, I have never posted. I always just enjoy reading. After reviewing this article I felt I had to say something. This article is not good enough for slashdot! I mean, if it were linked to a non-UFO centric site I'd let it slip but give me a break. /. readers are smarter than this and the moderators should be too.
