I haven't yet found an email client (that I like) in Linux that will disable the preview window. I don't mean just minimize it so that I can't see it executing when I click on an email, but completely disable it. Netscape, Mozilla, KMail, Evolution. None of them will completely disable it as far as I can tell.
I just read an article that talks about the state of roads and bridges in Michigan.
The article states, "Overall, the cost of repairing and maintaining southeast Michigan's roads, bridges, sewers, and water systems will exceed the money available to do the job by $60 billion" over the next quarter-century, the suburban alliance estimates.
This is just in the State of Michigan alone. Maybe we should take care of our own country first before taking on a project like that?
Oh, and who's footing the bill for this highway?
For $10.00 a month XM has no commercials. Most people won't pay $10 a month for something they think they're already getting for free on FM. (There aren't enough geeks in the world)
XM will eventually come down in price so as to allow more of the masses a chance to get in on the action. Once their audience base has reached a certain point (they've squeezed as much blood out of this turnip as they're able) they'll proclaim XM is free... BUT "we'll have to recoup our costs with a very small amount of advertising but not as much as those lousy FM stations!"
Slowly over time you'll see more and more advertising on XM just as you see on some Internet radio.

You can't have music without a good sales pitch!
