    :) I have actually quit my job just because I was forced to work on OS8 and OS9 machines. Restart restart restart!!! One crashed application and the whole system was dead. Terrible. And I was also very surprised, because my first computers were Macs - it was System 6 era and the System 6 was wonderful operating system for that time.

    Yes, you are absolutely right. I have very similar experience with current Apple HW and OS. But the MacOS 8-9 era was simply horrible, so I also understand why many people are so biased against Macs.

    I can agree that views against jewish people are a bad thing. And supporting horrors of 9/11 too. But views against arab and or muslim people, so common these days, are the exactly the same Bad thing. And supporting horrors caused to civilians in Iraq and elsewhere by US army too.

    These news are from ESA, Europaen space agency and European craft. If it is there to support "Go to Mars" space program, then we are talking about European Aurora programme. Or hopefully international mission.

    politicians are the same everywhere. the important thing and proof of our democracy is that they were not succesful. situation is very uncertain, mainly because of 10 new members which was not members of the union until this may, but i think that unlimited patentability will not be ever accepted. teh problem is that most of people do not care at all because they do not understand what software is

    the law was not adopted yet. and there is uncertainty if it will be or not because of ten new members that were not members of the union when it was discussed in the parliament and commission. dutch are reconsidering their vote... we will see later this year.

    .nix is a major problem in my opinion. But AFAIK myIE and other "better" variations of IE which was the original poster talking about does not even exist on MacOS

    just one of the advantages is that mozilla (and opera) is multiplatform. no matter what computer you use (at work, home, school etc.) you can still have your browser.
