    A UK company have registered the trademark GMail before Googles mail service was produced.

    This company held discussions with Google as to how much Google should pay them.

    Google said it is willing to settle but not for the amount the UK company is asking.

    Their is another German company in a similar disupte with which the UK company is thinking of joining with in joint legal action against Google.

    Analysts say the UK firm could be asking as much as £35 Million pounds for their trademark.

    There is a correlation between education and wealth, as you would expect, but any correlation between innate intelligence and wealth is much more tenous and hinges on the different nutrional and lifestyle choices of the parent rather than anything directly inherited.

    Simply assuming anything is silly which is why it's a good idea to do as much investigation as we can, the Earth definitely does go through cyclical warming and cooling periods caused by a number of environmental factors and it would be silly to assume that our activities are not one of those environmental factors today.

    Your right to say we should focus on all the factors which can enable natural events such as hurricanes to create such destruction and disruption to our way of life but global warming is one of those factors and shouldn't be disregarded.

    If global warming is a reality then it will cause warmer seas which can as you have explained increase the destructive capability of hurricanes such as this latest one.

    My sister recently bought a new PC and that already had a Skype icon on the desktop so it would seem at least one retailer is automatically installing Skype as standard. Unless the MS Solution is really better I don't see why they would change their current policy.

    True, all my non techy friends have learnt how to reformat their computers because "somehow" every couple of months the sheer weight of viruses and malware they have picked up slows their machines down to a crawl.

    When probed they all say they have no idea at all how these evil programs have come to be on their machines but they do download a lot of things off P2P networks without a care in the world.

    Flying dolphins use echo location very successfully. They only hunt at night and have learned to avoid human contact at all costs ( which is why you have probably never heard of them ) which is some indication of just how good their echo location must be.

    A website can only work out how long you are viewing their page for by tracking the time between requests. If you just have a single page open for 18 hours it will be indistinguishable from having a single page open for 0.3 seconds.

    Tigers can certainly live in Siberia and other very cold climates as can foxes and other animals so I don't imagine it would too much of a problem for lions either.
