guess you missed the part where they get 8/10 hrs of sun in the winter. in the states yes its different. a house easily go for days without sun its the hi draw things like heating that would need to be gas/wood powered.
they wont obomas huge push for solar all it will take is someone to complane to congress and this idea will be shot down. as for storage its true you can run a home for weeks on a decent sized battery system using led lighting low draw devices etc. i run my rv on a 250 watt panel and 2 g29 100 amp batterys it can go for days if i watch it. you will have to lose thing like the 60 inch tv and always running the ac but it can be done.
that's whats happening in Aussie. they passed a bill where they don't have to pay the grid tie system's a dime for the power there sending back. so people are converting there grid tie system into off grid systems in droves. irs cheaper to do there because of having 11 hrs of sun nearly all year so they only need a array half the size of one in the states.
they do have that system the problem is they have to pay you the same they charge you for the power. people with very large arrays can aculy have a 0$ bill.
yep there getting better people who got them 3 and 4 years ago paying 70$ a bulb only to have the mini transformer fail just still feel the sting. rember when cfl where overpriced and nobody told you they can die from heat.
wrong i have delt with led for years now they last for a very long time the problem with the 120v bulbs is the power converter that's what fails. if you run your led at 12v like say a camper or cabin they have no problems and led can get blinding bright.
wrong my buddy has warm light 12v strip led light's in the cabin he had a film crew come in and do a spectrum test for the cameras he passed test better then a house with non led lighting in fact the best they ever saw. its not the cost you need to look for but the warm light style ones.
right wanna check again led are getting cheap. seen them as cheap as 5$. the real cost in led bulbs is the converter to 12v that has to be installed in them for home use. 12v led can be gotten by the case for 5$ lol.
it still does not even come close to what cars make. and professional landscapers have been moving to 4 stroke due to there greater reliably. i myself own a 4 stroke and its outlasted any of the cheap Chinese 2 strokes.
the fuel mix we have been using is crap it turned out ethanol mixed with gas is actually worse then pure gas it also causes rust in metal gas tanks if not kept full.
you can run 12v on house lines so yes you would but a 12v transformer and power the lighting with it. as long as all the lights are on a sepret circet

amazon has 75w equivalent led for 5$.

really that's the best you can come up with.
yes in fact you can.
the micro converters are pretty new tec and heat was killing them they have improved
you can run 12v over the ac lines the amps would low enough not to need larger wiring.
look for warm glow yellows. they send out the same spectrum as a old school.
its safe to dim a led just get one that's made for a dimmer.

money cough!!!.
pretty sure the free money sign would have been enough lol.
but we did manage it most new 2 strokes have a filter installed that make them burn pretty clean.
actually i found my 4 stroke weed eater to have more low end torq then a 2 stroke.

modern 2 stroke are just as clean as a 4 stroke.
yep the specks there using are currently around the same as a 50$ android phone.
you must have never worked in the corn industry the subsides make it not even worth growing. many corn fields sit abandon due to farmers going broke.
