    yea this isn't just bought pirate bay. it just happens to be the biggest target you really think if you let them win they would stop there. there next move will to be to for after any site that has any sort of media they own fair use or not so say good buy to youtube facebook twitter google etc why because they all link to media. these people are not really after pirates they have been around since the birth of man that's how we learn and invent. its bought keeping there dead business alive and the only way to do that is to cripple the internet.

    rember the http warez of the old they would try taking down the sites and they would be back up in hrs with 10 new mirrors. there was even a tool that would generate accounts on every free hoster and upload your site all with a click. went threw this in the 90s and did just fine the only reason it quit was stuff like bittorrent took the need for it away. its the same game over again and the pirates know how to win.

    it uses hash tags and theirs no central server also the file name does not matter so stuff can be named anything. basically they cant be blocked,

    sopa is a dead bill at least it seems to be going in that direction they even have started drafting sopa 2 aka open to take its palce. they have eve amended the dns crap in a attempt to get support.its all bs being the next bill will probably be even worse. no half letting half a bill pass so they can get it on the next half do not let sopa pass at all.

    its because the guys that bribe them will not stop until they pass some stupid law hat can never be enforced.its all bought killing sites like youtube. becouse thats what will happen yes they will go after something like piratbay first but then all of a suddion any youtube video with even a hint of music even if they don't own it will be taken down this is fact being they have been caught doing so aruldy. why because they want to keep there dead format alive and these old rich fossels simply refuse to get with the facts that the economy is dead music has been dead for years they sign utter shit for artiest and nobody whants there drm ridden cds that blow up your pc. this has nothing to do with pirates people have been doing forever long before a pc was even around. its bought a dieing business model going down in flames and burning everyone on its way down.

    that's how open source works. if you don't like what the original dev is doing you fork off your own project. it happens all the time. rember when xfree86 lost there minds and xorg forked it and everyone uses that now. gnome and ubuntu have lost there minds and theirs a ton of forks now but to early to tell witch one will come out in top.

    block the ip we change/proxy/vpn it. block the dns we make a new one. the Chinese do it all the time to get around there own government garbage. spoa will be yet another law they can never enforce just like the dcma. yes they try all the time but even they have picked up on no matter how many you sue or how many sites you take down 10 more take its place. it will be the same story with sopa maybe just in a faster rotation. all this will do in the end is push the net to change from dns to using something else they cant control maybe torrent style network for getting websites.

    if sopa passes that's what you will see. ad bring there is a massive bribe cough donation effort to get it passed despite having no public support it probably will. then it will be a massive clusterfuck legit sites getting blocked etc and even the same stupid shits supporting it losing money hand over fist until it goes to the supreme court and gets destroyed. that's pretty much how this is going to go down. they can bribe a law passed no matter how many rights it infringes on and total lack of support but then the public takes it to the courts where its shot down.

    agreed they make awesome cameras and even printers that don't have expensive ink photo paper etc heck i even own all of those items but when do i ever use them yea that's a never.. when the last time you printed something or even upgraded your camera after 720p became standard in digital cameras.

    the problem is the real coders are not working on linux anymore you got artiest trying to make uis and no clue how to code it but hey it looks pretty. you got extra layers of crap on the back-end pulse jack etc rater then having all of this on alsa. they quit giving a shit bought performance hey look it boots up fast. when you bring these points to the likes of cannel they say we don't give a shit about the only user group that acully uses linux we wanna be newb friendly. but then ou use it and nothing bought it is friendly anymore just bugs. and every release seems to just get worse. i run arch linux these days yes totally bleeding edge but un modded packages and its rock solid.

    well also one of the main reason i went back to windows is the Linux devs have lost all direction, you knoe we all where all pretty much marching to lets get a desktop linux that works well. but when they finely started making way on making it happen what does ubuntu gnome and kde do lets go netbook friendly oh no wait that fad passed lets be touch screen friendly oh no lets just change the whole fucking ui to something people send hate mail abought but we will pretend all is right. rather then making this different projects they are all running around with no direction.
