    Does the database track bugfixes to the available code? It would be interesting to correlate data on syntactical style against the "quality" of code. (Not to be taken literally, bugfixes per module of code could provide a crude baseline.) Perhaps certain schools of syntatical thought lend themselves to simpler code? Perhaps better coders tend towards a similar style? Surely an invitation for a flame war over semicolons but interesting nonetheless.

    Definately a must have, I can't say how many times I've been pointed in the right direction by one of these little beauty's. What surprises me is how few people sell/use them.

    I know its not exactly for 600e's but this may help. We sell both 600x series and the 390's at the store where I work and sometimes use a util from IBM for 'refreshing' the batteries. It seems to reset some sort of fully charged indicator in the battery. Like any good IBM utility its completely vague, full of lengthy click through agreements and requires a dos/9x environment to extract itself onto a bootable floppy.

    Maybe this will help some folks out there ...
