Your post is off-topic. They're arguing whether or not GPL is communism. So even if you're right -- and i'm not saying you are right -- to say that communism leads to totalitarianism, you fail to acknowledge some factors, which i won't bother mention, that makes GPL an example of a large scale communism without a chance to be a totalitarianism. Unless of course you consider the license itself as "a powerful overhead authority." In which case, it fails to show the ability to give direct reward to people.
If the problem's just the platform (that T1 lines into a machine only exist on Intel), then can't the BSD's do that job? I'm sure a lot of people would agree that BSD's are far easier to secure than Linux. Sorry for my ignorance, but why can't digital cable tv's be run on *BSD?
You don't view the torrents, they're used by BitTorrent to download the files.
In this case, their avi files, w/c you can view using most any vid viewer.
--follow the previous link if you don't have Bittorrent, and keep the window open long after the download's over.
You don't need a module_for_everything.pm, The Perl motto is "There's more than one way to do it." The language doesn't force a particular style of programming on you. Write what comes naturally.
The server and client are separate because processes really does run separately. It would matter what would run server-side and client-side because of the web server and browser, respectively.
You're probably right that the only thing going for PHP is because it's free. However, you also left out the fact that it's open source, which means that, in time, improvements on PHP will overtake that of other languages'.
The price is low because, (aside from using Linux) it's just a "bare" laptop (no cd drive), and because the hardware and services are taken care of by their gov't.
Electrical Engineers do it with less resistance. It's the ECE's that do it with greater frequency.

Jew, Muslim, or, to put it generally: theist.
Mod parent up!
Doesn't it have the same problems with glibc as Redhat does/did?

Thanks for Part III.
That's only for winblows.
I don't think they're using a BSD kernel/OS which is probably what the previous poster is suggested.
Isn't ironic. GNU(GNU's Not UNIX)/BSD
# slashdot wont print the less than signs Have you tried < (<)?

I disagree. It's just that i don't read all of them.

Now, that'll have conflicts with the Mac emulator.
