Before DRM was even heard of, MS did infact make a few visits to Intertrust and MS to remember the quote from teh article, "were given an education in DRM".
Before that MS weren't doing this, after the many meetings, MS started to implement their own DRM solutions, similar to embrace and extend, however they didn't extend enough so much that they bought Intertrust when they had the chance.
The first time i heard this story was nearly over a year ago and i thought this had died down, however since it has now gone to court, this all seems tangible.
I have only just last week got broadband...so sorry if i seem far behind...plus i have very picky tastes when it comes to porn so forgive me if i don't download everything there is...oh yeah...i use a mac as well.
but as long as i have futurama on disk i am content
This program "mimac" runs on OSX and it can access 8 p2p networks at the same time, at its current version it can access 3, kazaa, bittorrent and filedonkey...
Only works on macs and of course is questionable when issuing stats, the 0.6 version of mimac is far more stable than previous and now allows mac users to access the other big networks.
When can i install linux on it and whats the point of this compared to a laptop like the Apple 17" which is much the same but thinner?
Rather have the portablity than a tiny desktop machine on my desk.
I hope a slammer type virus hits the net every week until every MS related server is off the net, then people will notice all the non MS type servers still up, running and laughing.
Then people might realise why a monoculture is bad and this is all the fault of MS and its poor security implementations and its training of MSCE's being pumped into the IT industry.
Self destruction is the answer, that way the learning process can evolve.

MS will not be affected and will get out of this at the end, again with a slap on the wrists.
I hope i am wrong but i do highly doubt it, until it happens i'm not celebrating.

Some people might not lug this around, they might keep it on their desk as a space saving option. Ever think of that?
How about buying a fucking Apple mac laptop? Or one from Walmart with linux installed? Duh!
