I had a problem with all my gages (they were dead) and locking the power door locks (opening worked fine), and the headlight-off delay timer,
and the overhead trip computer/thermometer, plus other things.
I thought it was a relay, because the same thing had happened when it was under warrenty. The work order said they replaced 6 dash board relays.
I checked them out (they are just to the left of the steering column, above the fuses) but they tested ok.
The problem went away when I disconnected and reconnected the body computer.
Later, after the problem happen several more times, that disconnecting the battery for a few minutes also fixed it. (But then I had to reset the radio and recalibrate the compass.)
This is exactly what I did, took my rented 3Com "Shark Fin" in to a Comcast service center and exchanged it, for a new Motorola SB5120.
There was no charge for a service call.
I couldn't get above 1 mbps (download) with the old modem. Now I'm close to 3.
I agree. I thought the short story version of Enders Game (may have been called something else, I read it years and years and years ago) was kind of a neat idea. But I never understood how it could be lengthened into a novel. I finally decided to get the book-on-tape version from my local library a few months ago. I could barley force myself to finish it.
was the first thing that popped into my head.
