The Militia Act of 1903 makes an organized militia, but anyone not part of that is in the reserve militia if they are a man between 17-45. So, most of the people he is trying to prevent from having guns could still have them under this amendment. This doesn't count states that would just make everyone in their state automatically part of the "state" militia to bypass this nonsense.
As a member of the 4-legged RocoCup Soccer team at my school, I wonder what will happen to the 4-legged division. Many schools have graduate programs devoted to RoboCup. I guess the innovation from these schools will now just disappear or be up into other programs. Oh well, nothing ever lasts...
The greatest limitation I have found is that except for PixelViewer (which only comes with Sony Clie's), no application has native PDF support. Adobe's reader must first translate the file to another format for the palm to read. This is a minor annoyance because since I have a Tungsten C, with WiFi access, I still cannot get school files to my Palm straight off of the internet.
As people have said, the Apple Stores will be able to pick this up, but also a tv channel (such as TechTV) could if they so desire. If you want information about the exact details of the webcast, they can be found at here, this way only major news stations can pick the signal up, not your average consumer. There is a possibility that Apple would do a webcast, and I would be supprised if they didn't, but usually they would have posted a link on their Quicktime site a lot earlier.
Over the summer, I had the fortunate access to the Sony duplication facilities outside of Terre Haute, IN. While there, they commented that they can produce 600,000CDs and 600,000 DVDs every day. For the CD duplication, their error rate is around 1%, and the DVD rate is higher, somewhere between 2% and 5% depending upon the type of disk (multi-layered or not...). They officially could not say how much a CD costs to manufacture, but if you can imagine how much they produce daily, you realize how little it must cost. Just my insight into the cost of CDs.
