Or you could take the route Cyrix took before they went belly up and build something like the MediaGX. Nearly everything was built in the one chip.

"Anything to keep CPUs cooler as they heat up - especially the AMDs, which have always run hotter."
Simply not true. Intels latest chips dissipate over 100W of heat while amd chips are still(except the newly released fx44 and 64-4000) in the 89w range. even amds latest still run cooler than intel.
I paid less for my nikon 4mp camera. Sure this is a smaller camera but smaller is not always better. I already feel like I'm going to break my current one and it's huuge next to this one.
I know what the big deal is. Do you want to sit next to a 130watt heater on a hot day? Also super hot cpu's are harder to cool down with standard coolers. Heat output is 3rd on my list of cpu choice (next to 1-cost and 2-performance)
I have downloaded nearly $40 worth of music now and I very happy. Only billing problems I have had was I got a ~$.20 overcharge (no big deal. may have been my bank anyway) and my bank (wellsfargo) charged me another $.20 to convert it to american dollars.
I take the stand that until someone stands up and says it's illegal I'm going to use it (by that time I'll have everything I want anyway).
This sounds good but what format are the files in? If I can't get my videos in divx and my music in ogg then I'm sticking with "other" services (like bittorrent and allofmp3.com).
This all sounds like a way to force upgrades onto people. I'm perfectly happy running office 97 on a windows 95 system. With something like this I would be forced for upgrade. Guess microsoft is hurting for money.
Wonder why Devo is on the list? I listen to Devo and you can't find a curse word in it. Guess the AJ just has something against nerds. Whats next the Beatles "1" (they do use that 4 letter word "love" a lot).

Flying cars sound good but what happens when we get the first mid air crash! Think about it...
