I talked to the guy via e-mail, and he seems pretty reasonable.. I think this is more to send a message to SCO than to screw former employees and that someone looking for a job there would have leeway to argue their case

But on the other hand, it could be irritating in the long run if it were illegal to have certain software running at certain times, and I don't really understand the grounds for U-Haul's side
One good way to permanently disable your motherboard is to screw it down onto the case directly, without any risers.
Not only does this put a significant amount of stress on the motherboard, but it shorts out every piece of metal on the back of it
