i couldn't agree more! it get's me so agrivated that AD(H)D had become just a common excuse today. i dont know how many time's i've heard "sorry, i'm having an ADD moment" or "thats just the ADD in me." it's such crap. cause the more people use it as an excuse the more people think that i'm just joking when i say that i really do have it.
as far as medication, i cannot take ridalen. i took it back in kindergarden and it made me very very violent. which is one of it's known side effects. that it can make you easily aggitated. i now take adderall, and it's the greatest. 20mg a day. without it i wouldnt be able to get through the day. i've been taking adderall for about 5 years now and it's helped tremendously.
tupperware/rubbermaid seems to be a popular method. yet i have one question. cabeling. how do you keep it from tangling in the bins? mine, it's like...i go to get a section of cat-5 and it get's all tangled and jumbled up with the telephone cords...and it ends up after 2 trips to the box to get cables it's time to rewrap them again. if its not tangleage i've got to worry about the nubs breaking off off of the ends. re-crimping and re-crimping. and then then a 25ft section of cat-5 turns into 5 feet.
i had a problem with MSN one time, but i'm pretty sure it was my fault. i was trying to get to Seminole FL (which is down by St. Pete and Tampa) to visit a friend of mine who just moved down there. Well, it turns out that down there, there are about a million different roads with the same freaking name all within a 2 mile radius of each other. So what ended up happeneing..I entered the zipcode, but not the city name and MSN i guess, new i needed to get t a Park Blvd. that would connect me to Seminole and then to whatever, or something like that. But instead it took me to a different Park Blvd taht was about 3 miles away. And at no point did it connect to the street that I needed to get off at. So I guess what happened is that it knew i needed to get to this street and that that street connected to Park Blvd, but since i didnt enter a City or something...it gave me directions to the wrong Park Blvd. then assumed that I was on the other Park Blvd. and proceded to give me directions to streets taht didnt exist on the Park Blvd that i was on but existed on the Park Blvd that i should have been on. (does that make sense?)
Anyways, I ended up stopping at an Eckards (spelling?) and showed a few locals my map, which confused the heck out of them and they were like "ok something isnt right here." I told them i needed to get to Long Bayou Way and after a few dirty looks and some unnessecerry comments between them "oh, honey thats where those damned rich people live, remember?" she said to her husband then looked at me, "son, are you sure thats where your trying to go? thats an awfully nice neighborhood..." i said i was sure and they got there just fine.
my friend, was on the cell phone with me and was trying to track me down on map quest, but that didnt help much, cause i couldnt find any adresses marked on any buildings to give him. i havent tried MSN since, but will say the problem didnt reoccour when we i specified the city name.
