has anyone seen any benchmarks of the speed improvments placed in the linux 2.6 series? I am running test10 right now and i must say i do notice a performance increase over 2.4 but it would be great to see some stats on the increase!
does anyone have any insight as to how this would happen? i would assume that atm machines are open on the net if anything they would be connected to some sort of a private network of the companies - did the atm become infected though one of the host computers on the private networK? one would hope that even having the cute little "windows update" annoyance popup that the sys admin would update a machine that has access to the atm network.? right? scares me.
i'm glad to hear it. I used to work in a tech center a few years back and one thing our company was complemented on was the fact that we were easly understood aside from the usuall call centers such as the previous dell center where the techs may speak good english but the accenct is just to different to comprehend. the last thing most of these people want to deal with after having endless computer problems is a person they can't understand, especially when the topic is most likley too technical to be able to figure out what it was they were saying.
!hoo
I haven't had any problems with my ipod's battery is this is 1 year aniversary problem or what?
