Well aside from the technical standpoint that apple and motorola have been working togeather for years. The whole other reason to partner with them over _ANY_ other celular phone maker is that much like Apple, Motorola makes the sexiest damn cell phones around. So why not combine that with the sexiest mp3 player in town?
Think from a design/marketing point of view.
I know you've been thinking about Motorola's M3 razor or whatever that damn thing i don't need but severly want is.
i'd a bit more scared buit 29 people and all of them are sharing the same crap i hear on canadian radio.. wheee, if they get them, or me for that matter (not that i use a p2p program *nudge wink*). will it mean less nickleback and crap such as that being distributed to the rest of the world?
yes that torrent file was only 205 meg's
Yet if you read yahoo news, they acctually mention that the amount of souce code that was "released" was acctually closer to 650meg. you can read it here.

buti mean in all seriousness wouldn't it be nice to go over and take a look at yoru neighbor's lawn mower, when it has 20 years worth of self engineering and what may appear to be random appendages of contex attached to it?
i can hardly rember my first system, i know it was a PC, 808g 64k ram.. 2 5 1/4 floppys.. but first class 3.0.. hell i still do typing on it.. with the glorius dot matrix printer..
makes for the fiance wanting to kill me.. soemthing about a collection (3 to 7 on at any time) of early to mid 80's computers networked with tokin ring that don't really do much of any thing i think.. but not bad for a 2-bedroom appt. i do say.
and the glorius 486DX 40Mhz (with turbo) as a firewall/mailserver is the best bet you'll find for $5.00 at a swap meet hands down.
now however you folks over there with the liqure and the guitars playing around a fire, start [paying us our nickle per air play to feed the "starving" pocket book in my... umm i mean.. the "starving" artists...
its a whole nother game for teh RIAA first its cassette tapes (HOME RECORDING WILL KILL THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!), then a tax on blank cd's (i still rember them costign more before the taxes anyways) next thing you know.. the'll just say, aww fu**, we need yoru Hard drive because its used in a system that can make music, or steal music..
