Reminds me of "Harry" in Asherson's Call which was a shard that had to be destroyed as part of the story line. On the thistledown server a band of PK's got together and protected it 24hours a day long after it had been killed on the other servers.
So the devs had to actually force it to be killed by spawning in Admin control monsters and getting one person on the server to volunteer to be the villain.
They even made a statue to commemorate the event in the game.

Some people are peddling at different rates than other people on the bike.
Only the person steering seemed to have any control over how fast the bike goes.
Reminds me of my Uncle who would turn over pieces to make the them look like wilds. His wife never quite understood why he got all the wilds!
