  1. German references on Reverse Parking Made Easy · · Score: 1

    Googled for more information and found the following two articles in German
    Mathematikerin entwickelt Formel zum Einparken

    Frauen entdecken das Einparken

    the second has a different version of the formula:
    p=r-w/2, g)-w+2r+b, f)-w+2r-fg max((r+w/2)+f, (r+w/2)+b)£min((2r), (r+w/2+k))

    Still doesn't make a whole lot of sense with unopened brackets and commas that don't appear to be separating parameters of a function.

    Real easy to make one and it saves the trouble of lost gender benders.

  5. Alps printers? on Are Printers What They Used To Be? · · Score: 1

    Has anyone looked at Alps printers?

    Unfortunately they don't seem to sell them anymore, but they boasted better quality prints than laser and cheap ink (powder) refills.
    Don't know if anyone else is using the same technology (Micro Dry and Dye Sublimation Printing) or whether this was a case of 'too good to be true'.

    I'm not sure if it's chain wide but the Radio Shacks around here are selling off the last of their stock in electronic components. The staff tell me that they'll no longer be carrying them.

    So, if the shack is your only local source of simple electronic components, you'd better stock up now. (Or find a good mail order source)

    Les Français sont des singes de capitulation qui mangent du fromage.

    Did you intend to call the French cheese eating monkeys of capitulation?
    Granted I don't agree with their foreign policy, but they're far from capitulating. They've been steadfastly against any action in Iraq. And while they are known for eating cheese ,particularly stinky cheese, the common derogative is frogs not monkeys.

    Oh and as for AMD, I wholeheartedly agree!
