    But the problem is now sexual reproduction is hurting our species. As our culture progresses the idea of children has become less and less desirable. People realize there is no real reason to have kids. After all, why would any sane person want to get up at 3am everyday to feed a leech, try and get a toddler to behave (you have seen Dr. Phil, complete nightmare) or pay insane amounts of money for toys, or argue with them all the time when they get to 13.

    This is shown by the fact that more and more 20 year olds are being "snipped" The people having kids will end up being those who are less intellegent or freakishly relgious, which can only hurt our progress.

    When you are in beta you are invincible. When someone claims that it is beta, they can tell you to shove it because it's "BETA SOFTWARE!" Even if you complain some troll will also point out that it's "BETA SOFTWARE!".

    Beta prevents the need for support but allows you to sell/release your product. This is a dream as it prevents those damn leeches called "consumers" from harassing them.

    True. They tried this with some fingerprint readers, the comptuer doesn't even sned a CHALLENGE! This means you can record everything the fingerprint scanner sends and then send it again. So what if its encrypted, you dont need to know whats in it.

    Simple, easy to remember, contains a number, has a period and comma, and is over 50 characters. I don't know about you, but these phrase passwords sound like a good idea.

    It takes me around 2 seconds to type my 20+ character password for my PGP disks.

    Wow, 4 seconds to type my 40 character passord, boohoo! Cry me a river.

    Biometrics is the most over-rated security idea ever thought of.

    Once someone gets a copy of your fingerprint or retina, your credit card is comprimised for life. You can't change you biometrics, which is why they are a total joke.

    I dont watch CSI, it's just a show that is really good in HD.

    I'd be using it to record 24 and shows like that. Sure, I can download it from bittorrent, but I like uncompressed goodieness =)

    mythTV is NOWHERE near ready for primetime. It is still a bitch to install and update.

    Hopefully this new version will fix some of these issues, but don't kid yourself. Call me when it comes with a graphical installer and I dont have to edit conf files.
