yup..me too! Had it working just fine. But after applying 10.3.9 it doesnt start. I understand there was change to racoon with 10.3.9. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.
From what I can tell 'net.inet.ipsec.esp_port' changed from 0 to 4500 with the upgrade and its the only ipsec related kernel variable that's changed
I found that anacron kept me from seeing my localhost IMAP SSL mailserver emails. It hid my systems cron messages, and other root emails from me in Mail.app. once i removed anacron, I was able to see the missing mail.
Applied the update..upon reboot trackpad on my Pismo 500Mhz didnt work at all. After second reboot it worked fine..looking for more anomalies..2 b continued...MU HAH HAH HA
I tried VPN tracker. No go with checkkpoint firewall. even thought their site explains it in plain english. You would have to have shell access to firewall in order to get the firewalls security cert. then you could do VPN.
Ive rebooted twice since installing the update. There still remains a vulnerability.I can click+drg the screensaver aside and access desktop items including entering the file browser and navigating to and launching any app i want as the user who owns the screensaver password. Could my update install have failed?. When i installed it there was no indication of it at all
i can still click+select+drag the screensaver over and click on desktop items. i can even launch apps, including terminal.app.
All the while the "please enter screensaver password" window hovers about.
This update is weak. There still remains a vulnerability.
