  1. Re:How about none ? on How Much Java in the Linux World? · · Score: 1

( And what can assembly do that you cannot do by screaming binary code into a microphone? :-) ) I like Java for its platform independency, and for how fast I can create a working application, but most of all I really like the API documentation! It's so accessible and comprehensible that I have never felt the need to buy a single Java book. Everything I want to know how to do in Java I can find out in a matter of minutes by browsing the API. I am proficient in C, C++, Python, O'Caml and even Visual Basic, but I use Java whenever I can get away with it.

The best games can be learned in 30 minutes, have no dice, or a very small chance element,[...] I disagree on the dice/chance part. Remember that a shuffled card deck is large chance element.

Do the passface method but use similar looking inkblots instead of the faces, it should have the desired effect, shouldn't it? You can't give away the passwords either, since "nobody" else interprets the inkblots as you do ("Well, first you click on the blot that looks like a mutated frog being raped."). You might not even need to interpret them to remember them, come to think of it.
