to remove the IC from the mother board (takes about 30s - much less than cutting the board up), then make a new PCB. This guy is using a microcontroller anyway, so a proper PCb would be worth the effort.

Yes, my spam count is way down too for the last 2 days or so. The Feds coralled about 135 crooks according to CNN. So, instead of the usual 150 spams a day, I only got about 50 yesterday, but today it is up a little again.
As from 2 days ago, I noticed a sudden and dramatic drop in the amount of spam and port scans hitting my domain servers. Then today, CNN reports that the Feds cleaned up the neighborhood.
Go Feds go!!!
