Ohh, you mean like on my Gentoo install I just can't "emerge nvidia-kernel" for free but have to pay to get the same as on Mancrap? No thanks, sparky. I'll never understand Mandrake-Mandrivel's approach to this issue. I used to be a Silver Club member when they were on the brink of fiscal death, and I thought that I would reap some benefit from it, but alas I could get the same everywhere else. I think this is just a scheme to pimp money from the users. Your OP's may vary, but mine don't.

Yeah, You really don't don't get it. First educate yourself a little more about Linux and what the different distros offer. There is no such thing as a "starter" Linux distro. Talk to someone who runs Linux. Ask his/her advice. Rinse and repeat with other folks who run Linux. And stop using crap-ass corpspeak as "production" "business model"et al.

As a hot rodder, I can tell you that 67 Nova is worth a lot more than that piece of shit Tortus. A body shell alone is worth 1500-3500 dollars depending on body shape and there are plenty of folks out there who want them. Also as an ex-mechanic, these cars of today are disposable. Very few will ever reach the collectablity of earlier cars(1) They all look the same, no distinguishing characteristics(2)As posted above, you can't "personalize" or tinker with these cars. You have to have the NVIDIA installer to be able to read the kernel headers and that is why you have to point it to /usr/src/linux which points to your kernel

Being a GM mechanic for 25 years your post is sooo full of shit I can barely write this. First of all ALL car manufacturers do the same thing all you say about GM, and have been doing it for the last 30 years. That is the way they all pay their mechanics-nee technicians-its called flat-rate and it is an industry-wide practice. That's also why most of your best mechanics go to independent garages to make living.
