How the hell would they ever have been heard in the first place. Even PUBLIC ENEMY distribute their albums through the major players in the music business. Yes for the fans you might believe their is some small backyard operation but really this small company is being financed by a major player eg. SONY, ROADRUNNER,GEFFEN etc.....
As far as I know you can buy PE - posters, t-shirts and albums at large COMMERCIAL venues such as HMV etc. I know I have a PE poster on my wall and a t-shirt and all their albums.....

These are mostly movies but your local BLOCKBUSTER should also have the series containing 1/2 hour TV episodes.....
ROBOTECH\MACROSS - the one that started all the hype about large robots and their "Days of Our Live" plots for the pilots. Bloody good.
WICKED CITY - wicked as the title suggests.
WINGS OF HOMMENAISE - think I spelt it right. This has one of the best story lines that I have seen

There are some awesome STAR WARS titles done like ANIME as well as SPIDERMAN- which although has shonky character drawing has some awesome backgrounds. Not being an Astrophysicist I can conclude that this could not be the only reason that gravity was more\less. Take for example the alignments of planets in our solar system like the interesting "Revelations-like" astronomical conjunction in May. Even though some planets where closer to Earth they did not have a combination effect on gravity
