I love Amplitude. And you can think of it as co-op because the extra people who play add to the music. There's also the cheaper version of Amplitude (with no less fun) -- Frequency. I have an extra problem with my friends (and friends' wives) who don't like violence, platformers, anything with maps, FPS, 3rd person perspective, and scantily clad women. These 2 games can put some groove on & they're acceptible to the grandma-type nagging wives.
There's the old joke that M$ Windows 95 is a 32-bit patch to a 16-bit shell to an 8-bit OS from a 2-bit hack. And how far have we come? Besides ramping up speeds, the structure of the PC is the same. M$ is one of the few players who can bump up the industry to a new architecture. This is a good thing.
Intel is realizing all of this & they're giving us the new i875P
M$ is saying that people aren't buying PC's so they have to create something new. This goes against the whole Borg mentality of M$ taking over what people have already done.
Please don't begrudge the money to do this (it was yours to start with).
Apparently the strategy by ***COMPANY X*** is to set precedent against small web sites that will presumably capitulate before going after the big guys.
Whoah, Deja Vu. They've changed something in the Matrix. Be on your guard.
Watch out Neo!
Dreamcast -- Powered by WinCE
Everybody is saying it's not just PDA's the article is talking about. What if XBOX 2 is powered by WinCE? PS3? Nintendo Ultra Game Sphere?
Sorry I don't have an XBOX so I can't be sure what it's running. So I'm not sure what you would call the OS of XBOX, unless you modded it.
You can play good games on WinCE, maybe not your device.
