Does anybody know where I could find a bigger version of the drawing of what it would look like when Huygens decends into Titan's atmosphere. I think it's a really neat picture.
Heres a link so that you know what drawing I am referring to

Virginia Tech wanted Xserves in the first place. Apple didn't reveal them until January.
Look at the benefits. Smaller case, less heat generated, less power consumed, error corecting code memory; all things which would be extemely useful in a supercomputer like this.
From what I have read, the upgrade will use 25% less power and take up a third less space. If I were Tech, I would throw the current G5s back too.
Honestly, if they had a legitamate claim I would support them. But these scare tactics and Lionel Hutz style legal wrangling all seem like smoke and mirrors to raise stock prices. If as many lines of code are in Linux as they claim there are, then why keep it secret. Linux is open source so that infringing code is already in the public anyway.
Until they show me substance, my opinion about them wont change.
Even better. A game called "Jump To Conclusions"
In this game you have a mat with conclusions printed on it, and on your turn you stand in the middle, and Jump to them.
What makes you think they will be cheaper? Companies tend to seek out cheaper workforces in order to increase profits. The consumer will never see any of that savings.
I am in the far northeastern part of the TVA system and rates here are 4.9 cents/kwh.

Due time! How long has this circus been going on?

Whoops, should have lowered my mod filter a little bit to see if my post had been beaten. And it had. Sorry
