How about some justification of your patent rejection of IE? I know, it sucks having a browser that loads a page correctly more often than not, but at least you've got a cooler mascot, right? Sorry if you take this as flamebait, but insupported rejection of MS products is pointless.
if number portability becomes a reality, what's to stop the phone companies from saying, "Oh, you want to keep the number you had with Verizion? That's fine, sir. I'll just go ahead and add the $50 transfer fee to your bill."
Is there any provision in the FCC's mandate that prevents the companies from gouging customers in order to make up for their supposed $2B in losses due to portability?
File transfer on Trillian is weak at best. Everytime I've tried to do an AOL file-transfer, it has failed miserably, but worked perfectly if I switch to the AIM client. Trans-system file transfer and video (or messaging for that matter) is not supported. Hence needing an account with every medium you want to communicate with. I'm not really familiar with Trillian plugins, though, so there might be something out there for after-market mods.
If they have a hall of shame section....

I'd nominate the NES Robot. That thing drove me to the point of insanity for hours on end during my precious formative years. Pick up, lift, move, no, don't drop it yet, D'OH!
...thanks to mailblocks (click here for original article about it). It was a pain at first getting all my contacts and listservs entered into my safelist, but since then I've been 100% spam-free. I just check my pending folder once a week or so for stranded messages. And heck, $10 for a 12MB inbox for three years is a deal compared to the big boys.
Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about using a computer, not a mac. That would definitely slow things down a bit. Carry on.

Man, construction unions are unstoppable.
